Gallery Sri Parvati was inaugurated in December 2005. It is located on the first floor of the 70 year old heritage house ‘Sri Parvati' on Eldams Road, Chennai, which is easily accessible. It is fully air conditioned with very modern lighting. The gallery hosts exhibitions of works by contemporary artists and is also rented out. It hopes to bridge the old and the new – the traditional house of the 1930s with its old world ambience and the modern world of art.
